You Can Join Us

Hi! We are with the Ski Patrol…Can we help you?

NSP membership requires completion of the Outdoor Emergency Care training classes and a Professional Rescuer CPR class. This educational program starts in August and is about 120 hours in length. These classes will prepare you to treat injuries and illnesses with expertise and confidence. This training may help you save a life on or off the hill. There is also ski and toboggan training provided during the snow season. We welcome medical professionals to volunteer with our patrol. Our protocol requires that all volunteers attend the outdoor emergency care class.

All patrollers in the Boston Mills Brandywine Alpine Valley ski patrol are volunteers.
There are several perks for being a patroller. These perks can change from year to
year.

To be considered for 2025/2026 season membership, you must RSVP and attend our Ski Patrol Tryout held at Brandywine Ski Resort on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.

The tryout day starts with a meeting which outlines the training requirements, time commitment, and costs associated with membership.  It is also required that
you ski or board immediately following the meeting.  We will review your skiing/boarding ability at this time.  Not all that attend tryouts will receive an
invitation to join.  Full qualification includes the successful completion of the Outdoor Emergency Care course and toboggan-handling test.

There is nothing more rewarding than putting in a hard day of work and having a good time doing it. You will become a respected part of the ski industry. You will perfect your skiing skills, and you will make friendships that will last a lifetime. Start a new adventure… JOIN THE SKI PATROL!
