Call for Elections!
We will one again conduct our annual elections during our fall refreshers this year.
This fall, we will be electing the following positions:
- Patrol Director – 2-year term. The winning candidate will serve as PD Elect during the 2023 ski season and will assume the Patrol Director position on July 1st, 2024.
- (2) Two Member at Large positions – 3-year term. Winning MAL candidates, who receive the first and second most votes, will assume the roles of Member at Large immediately after the election results are announced.
- (1) One Member at Large position (unexpired term) – The MAL candidate with the third most votes will assume the role of Member at Large immediately after the election results are announced. This two-year term will expire in Fall 2025.
Anyone interested in running should submit their nomination via email to our DPD of Administration, Tricia Mencin, no later than July 25th.
VOTING IS OPEN
Electronic ballots were sent out on Wednesday, September 20th. A friendly reminder will be sent on Wednesday, September 27th, to any member who still needs to cast their vote. The voting period will officially conclude on Monday, October 2nd, at 9:00 p.m.
Remember, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard by voting for one Patrol Director candidate and up to three Member-at-Large candidates.
We are fortunate to have four dedicated patrollers running for the role of Patrol Director (Josh Herchl, Chris Miller, Marge Ricksecker, and Bill Specht) and five enthusiastic candidates (Janet Glaeser, Rita Johnston, Lisa Lehky, Staci Kaliner, and Jason Roberts) for the Member-at-Large positions.
The Patrol Director candidate who secures the most votes will become the Patrol Director-Elect and assume office on July 1, 2024.
The top two vote-getters will serve full three-year terms as Members-at-Large, while the candidate with the third-highest number of votes will serve a two-year unexpired term, and all will take office immediately.
